Profile

Gerrit Schaafsma holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of Amsterdam. His research is about climate change and civil disobedience with an interest in both the theory and the practice of principled law-breaking. His other research interests include environmental philosophy (especially climate justice), global justice and liberal egalitarian theories of justice. He teaches at Leiden University College.
