DESCRIPTION:Filmreclame Fossielvrij presenteert: Merchants of Doubt\, over een handvol wetenschappers – betaald door de fossiele industrie – die jarenlang twijfel zaaide over de oorzaak van de klimaatcrisis.\nMerchant of Doubt\, gemaakt door Robert Kenner\, is gebaseerd op het boek van Naomi Oreskes en Erik M. Conway. De film laat zien hoe verkopers van schadelijke producten\, zoals bijvoorbeeld de fossiele industrie\, PR campagnes inzetten om de negatieve gevolgen van hun producten te verhullen. De misleiding gebeurt nog steeds. Multinationals als Shell en KLM maken het publiek met groene reclames wijs dat zij een onderdeel van de oplossing zijn\, terwijl ze in werkelijkheid het klimaat ontwrichten. Dit moet stoppen! \nTot slot hosten wij een paneldiscussie met o.a. Sieger Sloot en Anniek Pheifer geleid door moderator Martine Doppen.
